In Shanghai , the industrial land leasing is flexible. The enterprise can hold the land for at least 20 years at first, after 20 years, if the project is still accord with industrial orientation, the land will be renewed for another 30 years. Also, the price of the land and the request for renewal can be ensured in the land leasing contract. For those important strategic projects recognized by Shanghai government, they will get the land of 50 years directly.
