According to <The code for fire protection design for buildings> released by Chinese government, industrial properties are divided into 5 levels, from Class A to Class E. The Class A workshop is built with the strongest structure.
Most customers in our industrial park are fine chemical companies, and they may feel puzzled when deciding which kind of workshop they should lease. Here is a general principle for reference:
Class A:
1. Liquid flash point<28℃
2. Gas lower exposition limit<10%
3. Chemical decompounds automatically at normal atmospheric temperature or materials leads to easily self-ignition and explosion
4. Effected by water or steam in the air, the chemical will release gas, and this kind of gas will cause explosion
5. Strong oxidants which will easily cause explosion, if effected by acid, heat, crush, friction, catalysis, inflammables.
6. Materials which will easily cause explosion if crushed with oxidants
7. The operation temperature is more than its ignition point, when manufacturing this kind of chemical in a well-closed container
The photo above shows a typical Class A workshop
Class B:
1. 28℃<Liquid flash point<60℃
2. Gas lower exposition limit≥10%
3. Oxidants excluded from hazardous chemical list
4. Inflammables solids excluded from hazardous chemical list
5. Combustion-supporting gas
6. Droplet flash point >60℃,dusts in planktonic state which may cause explosion
Class C:
1. Liquid flash point≥60℃
2. Inflammables solid
Class D:
1. Processing of non combustible materials, and it will generate heat, sparks or flame
2. Using gas, liquid or solid as fuel
Class E:
1. Manufacturing or processing non combustible materials at normal temperature
In a word, which kind of workshop is suitable for you mainly depends on the raw materials and manufacturing process of your project!
